Matt is a partner in the firm’s audit and accounting practice, concentrating on audit, review and compilation functions in the construction and manufacturing industries. He specializes in audits of bankruptcy trustees and internal control reviews. He has extensive experience in state and local income tax and state and local sales tax.

Prior to joining the firm, Matt was employed in the tax department, in an international corporation where he specialized in state and local taxes.

He is past president-director of Assertive Community Treatment of Kalamazoo, Inc., finance director of St. Monica Parish, member of the Kalamazoo Area Catholic Schools Blue Ribbon Committee, past director of Hackett Catholic Central High School, and treasurer/director of the Kalamazoo YMCA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Matt received a BBA from Western Michigan University.
