Gene is a partner in the firm’s tax department. He specializes in individual, estate, partnership & corporate tax planning & preparation. He also works in the areas of business valuation, estate and gift, and divorce.

He has over 20 years experience in public accounting and has been a partner since 1995.

Gene is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants - Tax and Consulting Practice Sections, and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently Treasurer of the Southwest Michigan Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Gene has been Treasurer and board member of the High on Kalamazoo Air Show, as well as a board member of Family & Children Services and the Pinedale Ambulance Service.

He received his Bachelors form Michigan Technological University and a Masters in Accountancy from Western Michigan University.
